Special Education School Files for Bankruptcy

The Star-Ledger reports today that Somerset Hills School has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. In response, the Department of Children and Families announced that it “would cut ties” with the special education school. Somerset Hills, a private for-profit school In Warren County that serves about 97 boys, ages 7-14, with behavioral disabilities, including histories of violent behavior, drug use, crime, and suicide attempts,
