WHYY is reporting that "New Jersey lawmakers are not expected to enact education reform proposals at next month's final meeting of the current legislative session." Bills that sought to reform teacher tenure and install merit pay are apparently off the table. There's no word (that I've heard) on bill that change charter school laws or give school districts the option of moving elections to November.Labels: merit pay, tenure
